# How are client assets held at Altiora Capital?

**Client assets are held in segregated accounts opened in each client's name. They are never pooled with Altiora Capital SA's own balance sheet.**

Segregation means two separations: between the client and the operator, and between one client and another. Each client's custody account is set up during onboarding, before any trading starts.
